"Tashir" group of companies intends to build two new thermal power plants in the vicinity of Noyemberyan town, Tavush Region, Armenia and in the area of Hrazdan thermal power station by the end of 2024, as the official website of "Tashir" says.
It is planned to build a thermal power plant with a capacity of 126 MW and an annual productivity of 1 billion kWh in Noyemberyan, and the electricity obtained from it will be used in Armenia and exported to Georgia.
A thermal power plant with a capacity of 50 MW and an annual productivity of 400 million kWh is planned to be built on the territory of Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant. It is noted that 4 gas cylinder generators of the latest generation with a capacity of 12.5 MW each will be installed in the first stage. In the second stage, it is planned to double the capacity of the plant to 100 MW.
According to "Tashir" group of companies, relevant memorandums are planned to be signed with all interested parties in the near future.
