

"EcoLur" Informational NGO studied the problems and opportunities of four consolidated communities in Armenia from the point of view of localization of energy and climate change policies. EcoLur conducted the studies in Talin in Aragatsotn Region, Dilijan in Tavush Region, Yeghegis in Vayots Dzor Region and Pambak in Lori Region. Based on the studies, the draft report of "Localization analysis of climate and energy policies at the community level" was compiled, and recommendations for legislative amendments were developed.
The community climate and energy issues and legislative proposals raised in the draft report were presented during a professional discussion by Victoria Burnazyan, Deputy President of EcoLur Informational NGO, and Roza Julhakyan, Expert of EcoLur Informational NGO held at EcoLur Press Club.
The experts presented their opinions and recommendations regarding the presented materials.
Inga Zarafyan, President of "EcoLur" Informational NGO, emphasized the opinions and suggestions of experts and noted that the legislative recommendations developed on the basis of these suggestions will be further elaborated.
Draft report "Localization analysis of climate and energy policies at the community level" and the recommendations for legislative amendments were developed within the framework of "“Impacted communities and civil society organizations as participants in the introduction of socio-ecological culture in the energy and climate change policies of Armenia” project implemented with the support of the UNDP/GEF Small Grants Program and "EU4Climate" regional project.
