At the Wine Festival held in Yerevan on June 7-9, the beneficiaries of "Living Landscapes for Market Development in Armenia" (LILA) project presented themselves with an assortment of "Artcheese" brand cheeses, "Berkri" and "Kria" brand wines.
With the support of LILA project, "Artcheese" cheese factory opened a cheese tasting hall in Yelpin settlement, Vayots Dzor Region.
Davit Avetisyan, representing "Berkri" brand restaurant, wine factory and guest house operating in Yenokavan settlement, Tavush Region, also said that "Strategic Development Agency" NGO assisted in the construction of the guest house by providing 50 percent investment.
Tatevik Gabrielyan, Director of "Kria" wine factory operating in Vernashen settlement, Vayots Dzor Region, noted: "SDA helped us present our new product at the Wine Festival, and we are very grateful for it. We are a small family factory located in Vernashen. SDA helps us to develop our tourism.”
Lilia Torosyan, in charge of tourism and hospitality sector of LILA project on behalf of SDA NGO, noted that in addition to providing support to local businesses, they contribute to the development of local business capabilities.
