The annual mass cutting of trees has once again begun in various districts of Yerevan. Every day, EcoLur receives complaints from residents demanding that the destruction of green zones be stopped. The most recent alert concerns tree cutting being carried out near the “Nairi” Medical Center on Paronyan Street.
Activists have appealed to the press, and many media outlets have published the information received. EcoLur has sent the alert to the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, which reported that based on the information published in the press, the alert has been accepted for review, after which a response will be published.
