On June 27 EcoLur Press Club hosted Aram Aghasyan, herpetologist, PhD in Biology, Senior Reasearcher at Institute of Zoology and Hydroecology of NAS RA, Head of Specially Protected Areas of Bioresource Management Agency of Ministry for Nature Protection RA and “Center for Bird Lovers” NGO Chairman Silva Adamyan, researcher at Institute of Zoology and Hydroecology of NAS RA. The topic was the increase of snakes and midges in Yerevan and the number of snakes turned out not to increase, but the probability of people to meet them has increased, as Aram Aghasyan said. Unlike snakes, midges have really increased, as Silva Adamyan substantiated.
