Another SHP project in Vanadzor: the public hearings of its environmental impact assessment will be held on 21 February to be submitted by “A&G Service” LLC.
The project says, “The SHP should use the check drop of Spitakajur drinking water pipe of Vanadzor town, from the height of 1968 meters to 1500 meters. The aqueduct was constructed especially to supply water to Vanadzor at the end of the 90’s. And now it presents interest as a source of renewable energy – SHP. The length of the SHP section is 5.2 km.”
Under the seismic map, the seismicity of SHP section makes up 9 and more points. “Spitakajur” SHP should” operate on the used water of “Karbi Jrhos” SHP located above. This means that water from the river is discharges and that’s why there is no requirement to the sanitary flow. “Karbi Jrhos” SHP ensures the flow,” the project says.
The capacity of the SHP is assessed o.4 Megawatt, electricity productivity is 2.224 kw/hour, the expenses on environmental measures make up 4988200 AMD.
