On November 26 the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the RA will confirm the sale prices of electricity for 2015 delivered from electricity producing stations using renewable energy resources․
Particularly the price of electricity delivered from Small HPPs built on natural waterways will be 21.168 AMD/ kWh without VAT, 14.110 AMD/kWh will be for Small HPPs built on irrigation systems, 9.408 AMD/kWh will be for Small HPPs built on drinking water sluices. Electricity prices will be confirmed for 126 Small HPPs including the scandalous "Martsiget 1" and "Khachaghbyur 2" SHPPs.
It should be noted that in spite of the high price of electricity produced in Small HPPs built on rivers, SHPPs produce less electricity than it is calculated and planned by the Public Services Regulatory Commission.
Under the official information, from 1 January to 31 December 2013 the SHPPs produced less than 80 million kW/h electricity. From 1 July to 31 June 2013 (marginal year) 176 million kW/h less electricity was produced, while till the end of this year – 1 January, the deficit will make up 186 million kw/h, under the forecasting. The difference in money makes up 1 billion 253 million AMD, if to take into consideration the difference between the non-produced electricity and supplied electricity. The expected damage in the marginal year (from August 1 to 31 July 2015) will make up 3 billion 680 million AMD.
