Businessmen and investors from different countries worldwide have joint the global combat of climate change. Speaking at the UN Global Compact’s Caring for Business Forum held in the frames of the United Nations climate change conference (COP21), UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon said they gave certain promises to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transferring to clean sources of energy. Over 100 private companies have declared about their commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
“Only last year over 2000 companies and 500 investors recorded their commitments in climate change. In order to have global temperature increase over 2 degrees, we shall move forward and very quickly,” UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon said.
