Armenia’s 7th National Report on Biodiversity is now ready and available on the official website of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
The purpose of the report is to ensure Armenia’s accountability in line with the goals and targets of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF), by providing a comprehensive analysis of actions implemented at the national level, results achieved, and existing challenges.
“The timely preparation and publication of the report is particularly important on the path to hosting the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), as the global review of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) is scheduled to take place during COP17 in October 2026,” stated RA Environment Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan.
During COP17, the global review of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) will be conducted on the basis of national reports submitted by Parties.
