The profit received from the sale of the additional electricity produced at the expense of the additional water intake from Lake Sevan made up 1,645,139.6 AMD in 2017, while no profit from the sale of the additional electricity produced at the expense of the additional water intake was calculated in 2008, 2012 – 2014, as RA Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Arthur Grigoryan’s letter says in reply to EcoLur’s enquiry.
“At the expense of the water amount of 170 million cum let out from Lake Sevan on 06.07.2017, the electricity delivered by “International Energetic Corporation (Sevan-Hrazdan Cascade)” from 15:00, 2 August 2017 to 20:00, 14 September 2017 made up 81.0 million kWph. The profit made from the difference between the earning of the sale of this 81.0 million kWph electricity and the made expenses at “International Energetic Corporation” CJSC” and “Electrical Networks of Armenia” CJSC made up, 545,030,000 AMD and 1,100,109,600 AMD, respectively.
From November 2017 to January 2018, “International Energetic Corporation” CJSC” and “Electrical Networks of Armenia” CJSC transferred 1,645,139,600 AMD to their extra budgetary account.
Currently, there is a draft resolution of RA Government put into circulation on transferring the aforementioned 1,645,139,600 AMD to the state budget,” the Ministry reply says.
