EcoLur Presentation –The Best

The presentation by EcoLur, www.ecolur.org/blog, was recognized as the best out of 12 presentations at the Forum held in Berd Town, Tavush Region, on 24 August. The presentations were prepared by Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s grantee organizations. EcoLur’s blogger Tehmine Yenoqyan was presented a teddy bear woven from ecologically clean woolen threads – hand made by Berd women. Tehmine said the idea of making hand-made teddy bears belongs to a German woman.  She was in her dreams she should come to Berd Town in Tavush and make bears, and she turned her dream come true and taught unemployed women in Berd how to make them. Locals call made bears Berd, and female – Berduhi. This event was held by Berd IT organization where also local schoolchildren and students participated. It’s already several months since Berd IT organization has been teaching them blogging which was finalized with a forum.
