'No to Plunder' Civic Initiative Responded to Armenian PM's Speech

'No to Plunder' Civic Initiative has responded to Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan's speech made at the meeting of the Armenian Government on 25 June, which says, 'At the meeting of the Armenian Government on 25 June Hovik Abrahamyan referred to the demonstrations against rise in electricity price held in Baghramyan Avenue and said, 'I would like to say our activists that such style won’t bring any success, so I suggest being constructive: the government is willing to discuss any question raised by them. They violate the Constitution by closing one of the central streets and abusing citizens’ rights to free movement. I’m calling the citizens to come back to the constructive field and to discuss all problems together…” We would like to remind Mr. Abrahamyan that Article 88 of the Armenian Constitution bans to be a bin entrepreneur and an MP at the same time. Before trying to discredit the activities of other people and banning people to close the street for peaceful demonstrations, it would be much better to exercise Constitution on your own person.
