RA Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia has given a laconic answer to the proposals of the civil society concerned with the environmental problems in Armenia, which have been directed to the Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan. The representatives of the civil society were expecting that their proposals would be included in the new program of the Armenian Government.
In this regard, RA Nature Protection Ministry informs, 'In reply to your letter addressed to the Prime Minister on 18 May 2018, we would like to advise you that the new program of the government, where the development directions and objective have been presented in general provisions, was approved at the cabinet meeting on 1 June 2018.
At the same time, valuing the importance of the problems raised by you, which have always been and will be in the focus of the ministry, relevant measures will be taken to include their solution options in the action plan.'
It should be mentioned that the proposals referred to the mines, forests, Lake Sevan, ANPP, SHPPS, Ararat Valley etc.
