New Film on Problems and Development Perspectives in Odzun Consolidated Community

The third video entitled "Community and Socio-Ecological Challenges" shot by "EcoLur" Informational NGO reflects the socio-economic and ecological problems in Mghart settlement, Odzun Community in Lori Region. Oleg Dulgaryan, President of Center for Community Consolidation and Support NGO, presents these issues noting the need to implement a socio-environmental policy.

Roza Julhakyan, the expert on of “Social and Ecological Responsibility” project, emphasizes that the community is demanding. The residents of the community present the impact of Mghart gold mine on the settlement, the directions of alternative development of the village, emphasize the importance of fixing the liabilities of the mining companies towards the communities.

The film was shot by "EcoLur" Informational NGO within the frameworks of “Social and Ecological Responsibility” project.
