

On May 13, 2022, the meeting of the members of "Social and Ecological" consortium to discuss the works envisaged in the final stage of "Social and Ecological Responsibility" project took place at EcoLur Press Club.
Inga Zarafyan, President of EcoLur Informational NGO, journalist Kristina Ter-Matevosyan, Oleg Dulgaryan, President of Center for Community Consolidation and Support, Arthur Vardazaryan, President of New Horizons NGO, Nazeli Vardanyan, Director of Forests of Armenia NGO, Abraham Artashesyan, Vice President of Union of Community Financiers, Project Expert Roza Julhakyan took part in this discussion.
The meeting discussed the scope, format, the legislative component of the general socio-environmental policy document for Akhtala and Odzun in Gegharkunik Region, Martuni, Vardenis, Goris, and Sisian Communities in Gegharkunik Region, as well as the draft decisions of the Aldermen’s Councils of the aforementioned communities on the incorporation of the socio-ecological policy in the community development programs.
“Social and Ecological Responsibility” project is carried out by the NGOs involved in "Social-Ecological Consortium” - “Center for Community Mobilization and Support”, “Martuni Women’s Community Council”, “New Horizons”, “EcoLur” and “Forests of Armenia” NGOs within the frameworks of The Data for Accountable and Transparent Action (DATA) project.
