On May 29, 2023, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed Law "On Amendments to Law on Environmental Impact Assessment and Expertise" and the package of related bylaws. RA National Assembly discussed and adopted the package of the above-mentioned laws in the second reading at the session held on May 2.
It should be noted that the representatives of the civil society, including EcoLur, made suggestions during the drafting of the bills. Recommendations and observations were either rejected or partially accepted. EcoLur recommendations can be found here.
