On Monday, the Investigator of Criminal investigation department of Home Affairs Ministry of Russia invited ecologist Suren Ghazaryan to charge with the criminal case, which the mass media called “on damaging “Tkachov Summer House’s” fence.” Interregional Association of human rights organizations “Agora” made this statement to the “Izvestiyas.” According to the lawyers, though on Monday lawyer Marina Dubrovina filed a motion on the groundlessness of the expert assessment, the prosecutor affirmed the charge. Ghazaryan faced to imprisonment up to 5 years.
Under the investigation, on 13 November 2011 Ghazaryan and Vitishko wrote on the fence around the elite mansion in Tuapse with “This is our forest”, “This is our land”, “Part of thieves” etc.
Under environmentalists, this gorgeous mansion belongs to Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachov. In March, President Dmitriy Medvedev demanded from the prosecutor’s office to check the case of Ghazaryan.
