In the election period of the elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, the internet mass media covered more actively the campaign of the Republican Part of Armenia. The opposition as represented by Armenian National Congress (ANC) took the third place. While the closing group of three was the parties not elected. These are the interim results of the monitoring conducted among more influential internet mass media by “Journalists for Future” Organization. According to the organization head Suren Degheryan, many factors influences on the indicators, for example, the internet mass media publish not only their own materials, but also the materials of the printed press. Another important factor used also in the traditional methods of coverage and alternative media resources, for example, lifestream. Much depended on the party resources, while the position of the mass media is not excluded either. It’s interesting that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation turned out to be the most criticizing party. While the Republican Part of Armenia has both the largest number of positive remarks and the negative remarks. The monitoring held with the support of OSI Armenia will continue up to 6 June.
