The uncertainty connected with the political leadership in environmental sector gets cleaner. At National Assembly the position of the Chair of Committee on Agriculture and Environment of National Assembly is held by Samvel Balasanyan from the Party of Prosperous Armenia. He was born on October 12, 1954 in Gyumri (Leninakan.). In 1976 he graduated from the Nalbandyan Leninakan State Pedagogical Institute, and 1983 he graduated from the Moscow Food Production Institute. His work experience is as follows:
1977 - Worker in the Leninakan Beer Factory.
1978 - Technologist in the Confectionery Factory.
1992 - 1999 - Director of the Beer Factory.
2003 - 2012- Deputy in the National Assembly. He is a Deputy Head of the "Prosperous Armenia" party.
