As it’s expected that the government, at the meeting on 14 June, approved the package of proposals on increase in Lake Sevan up to 320 million cubic meters submitted by the State Committee on Water Industry. The package of documentation introduces proposals on amendments in the laws, which ensure conservation and recovery of Sevan ecosystem. PM Tigran Sargsyan noted, “The agricultural communities in Ararat Valley are endangered. It turned out that water reserves are currently consumed very rapidly.
