Achapnyak Residents demand to freeze another construction in green zone. “Dear Mayor, a construction has been launched in the public green territory next to building no. 4 on Arzoumanyan street. Trees have already been cut down. For years our building was considered to be an emergency, nevertheless, it was transferred from 3rd category to 4th category without any fortifications. Now the construction works have made the cracks in our building get larger and larger. We have also numerous times applied to the sanitary inspection, as there are many rats in the basement. Now the construction caused the rats to go out to the surface and invade apartments,” says residents’ applications to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. They also ask to provide information when and where the residents of the neighboring buildings were informed about the launch of the construction. They also want to be made aware of architectural proposal, opinion of urban development expertise and permit for construction.
