First Bikeway in Yerevan

The first bike way in Yerevan was opened on 10 October, at 14:00 on Circle Boulevard near Aragast Café. The bikeway runs along the whole length of the Circle Boulevard up to the garden located next to the monument to Andranik Zoravar. “Thus development of new transportation will be launched in Yerevan and we hope that bikeways will spread the whole city,” says the statement by “Kanachastan” NGO. Those who would like to ride can use the bikes provided by organizers. The opening ceremony was accompanied by a jazz concert by the Nooz Band.
