The demand posed by 48 NGOs on the Minister’s resignation caused a stir in the mass media and social networks. Karine Danielyan, Chairman of “For Sustainable Human Development” Association and Representative of “Burg” Youth NGO Arman Vermishyan commented on their position in regard with this demand in the “168 Hours” newspaper.
Arman Vermishyan told 168 Hours” newspaper the “Burg” Youth NGO didn’t join the demand posed by the Public Environmental Alliance on Nature Protection Minister’s resignation, as it is connected with the position of the chairman of “Burg” NGO.
“For Sustainable Human Development” Association didn’t join the demand posed by the Public Environmental Alliance on Nature Protection Minister’s resignation, as Karine Danielyan, the Chairman of Association, held the Minister’s office in due time,” said the latter in her interview the “168 Hours”. “I think it’s not ethical to assess the activities of this or that person holding that office and to demand his/her resignation.”
