“Teghout Support” civic initiative has dispatched the report to the EU. The report lays down the substantiations of the fact that the Armenian Government doesn’t perform some obligations in the frames of neighborhood program. “Thus the Armenian government failed to regulate issues, which were mandatory conditions for closer cooperation”. These issues are as follows:
- disrespect for the country’s own international obligations,
- control over corruption risks ensured with the grants for the government,
- depriving NGOs right to access to justice on environmental matters prescribed by Article 9 of the Aarhus Convention,
- violation of rights to the property of rural population,
- issues with environmental legislation,
- absence of mechanisms for environmental impact assessment etc.
