The Armenian government changes the tasks and goals of the state soil inspection of Energy and Natural Resources Ministry. The amendments will be made in the decision no. 1577-Ն dated on 11.12.2008 at the government meeting on 8 November.
The new tasks and goals are as follows: 1) ensuring state control over the enforcing of legislative provisions on natural resources, 2) ensuring the state inventory of the reserves of natural resources, 3) ensuring the enforcement of the decisions concerning violations in the field of soil management, 4) assisting in minimizing and preventing the harmful impact in case of soil management, 5) preventing the over-exploitation of soil and selective soil management with the exception of mineral sources.
