According to Environmental Inspection of Nature Protection Ministry, the damage caused to environment from 12.11.2012 to 16.11.2012 made up 3,640,000 AMD.
In accordance with the press release disseminated by Nature Protection Ministry, illegal fellings are recorded in Lori and Tavush regions. Violations in the field of protecting land areas from emissions and wastes are recorded in Kotayk region. Contamination of land areas with industrial wastes is recorded in Syunik region as a result of the tailing pipe breakdown at Deno Gold Mining Company. The fine for Deno Gold Mining Company made up 2,880,000 AMD. Another case of violating hunting rules is also recorded in Syunik region. Four people are fined for violating rules for timber transportation.
