On 20 November Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan discussed with Executive Director (CEO) of the Caucasus Protected Areas Fund David Morrison the results of the support program of specially protected areas. Both parties came to the conclusion there are positive shifts, but still there are problems with the management plans of specially protected areas and protection regime. The Minister assured that the problems outlined in 2010 are under his focus. The need for technical re-equipment of the specially protected areas was highlighted among urgent issues together with investments for the support of employees in this system.
