Yerevan Municipality proposes to construct “Noyland” Historical-Ethnographic Center and “Artcity” Center of Arts and Tourism in the territory “neighboring” to Dalma Gardens. The Municipality website says the Municipality made the statement about the competition on construction still on 18 May 2011, but it doesn’t say which territories will be given for this construction. Reminder: the development of Dalma Gardens was launched 10 years ago, and as a result, the city lost its historical-cultural green complex with orchards, while the owners of these orchards have been holding protest demonstrations near the President’s seat for all these 10 years. They are periodically promised compensations for their damage.
