On 18 January the owners of Dalma Garden held another protest demonstration in front of the President’s seat. They demand from the president just compensation for the land areas, they had been cultivating for 20 years, which were illegally seized from them. During the presidential campaign the owners intend to hold protest demonstrations. As “Sona Dalma” Fund Chairman Ruzanna Kazaryan told EcoLur “Ex Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan approved that out of 150 applications 48 were not met. This question is not solved so far. The President is the guarantor of our rights and justice and we need to solve the problem of compensation fairly,” Ruzanna Kazaryan said.
