The election program of Armenian incumbent president and presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan for the elections of 2013 doesn’t contain any clause dedicated to environmental issues. Nevertheless, we could find the following in “Even development in the whole territory of the country” clause: “We will continue the policy of  purposeful development of renewable sources of energy…We will finish the construction of the second power unit of the nuclear power plant in planned timeframes…”.

The election campaign of Serzh Sargsyan consists of the following sections: “Introduction”, “Well-off Motherland”, “Armenian Army- Number 1 Guarantee for Well-off Motherland”, “Foreign Policy on Way to Well-off Armenia”, “Arbitrator of Nagorno Karabagh fate is only and only people of Artsakh”, “to Well-off Armenia with brothers and sisters from Diaspora”, “Only Fair Armenia can be well-off”, “Free Armenia and well-off Armenia”, “Well-off families”, “Employment and Respectable reward”, “Well-off villages and effective agriculture”, “Even development in the territory of the whole country”, “Invulnerable families in society”, “Health of Family”, “Culture”, “Education and Science”, “Youth and Sport”, and “Conclusion.”
