Presidential Candidate Andreas Ghukasyan is feeling worse, so the ambulance was called. Now he continues his hunger strike lying.
Reminder: Andreas Ghukasyan started the hunger strike on 21 January, the day when the campaign of presidential candidates was launched. He is one of the exceptional candidates, who provided free airtime prescribed to him by law to citizens to express their opinion.
We present the video materials of the citizens, which were broadcast during the airtime provided by Andreas Ghukasyan. We also present an extract from Andreas Ghukasyan’s election program which shows why public control should be set over national wealth.
“To set public control should be over national wealth it’s necessary
-to exercise public control over the property of top officials of the Republic of Armenia, their family members and people interconnected with them,
-to return to the state the illegal wealth gained through corruption by the officials during the Third Republic,
-to review all the contracts and agreement on the use of natural resources, strategic infrastructures and objects, which were concluded by the criminal oligarchy for the Third Republic,
-to investigate the expedient use of loan resources allotted by international creditors and formation of external debt of Armenia,
The president shall set up ad hoc committees with defined authorities and working procedure to implement this process, which are composed of mainly civic society representatives. The civic society should convene an open meeting and autonomously decide upon democratic mechanisms for nomination, promotion, election and withdrawal of its representatives. The activities of ad hoc committees should be transparent for public.”
