A protest demonstration will be held near the Government building at 11:00 on 14 February, which is directed against the long-term leasing of 50,000 ha of pastures to the Iranian Province of East Azerbaijan. The implementation of this deal is of great danger for the safety of Armenia. This statement was circulated by newly-founded “Hayazn” party on Facebook.
Reminder: on 12 February “Hayazn” party handed a letter to Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Reisi, where an increased concern was expressed with the deal on providing Syunik pastures to East Azerbaijan on long-term basis.
