Government Permitting Citizens to Develop Soil of Their Own land Areas

The Government permits the citizens to develop the soil of their own land areas. This item is included on the agenda of the government meeting on 21 February. Draft government decision has been submitted by Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan. 'Not non-profit reasons and only for meeting their own economic and household needs, the legal entities and natural persons of Armenia may develop non-metallic mines not registered in the state balance, up to the depth of 2 meters and to construct underground structures up to five meters without any explosions,' the draft decision says. This work doesn't need any geological permits.
