The official website of the executive informs that the Armenian Government has provided 680 million AMD to the Ministry of Agriculture to prevent spring floods. These funds will be used to take measures to prevent floods in Ararat, Armavir, Gegharkounik, Lori, Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Tavush regions. These funds will be used to strengthen the most vulnerable parts in 14 sections and dams. “We address this problem twice a year and allot 700 million AMD from the reserve fund. The first part is allotted now, the second part will be allotted in autumn,” said PM Tigran Sargsyan at the government meeting.
