According to the official website of the Armenian Government, the Armenian Forests Rehabilitation and Development Fund carried out reforestation in the territory of 31 ha in Erebuni administrative area. The discussion of the activities of Armenian Forests Rehabilitation and Development Fund was held at the meeting of the Fund on 1 March headed by PM Tigran Sargsyan. Yerevan Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan made a report that Yerevan has 800 ha of forest fund and there are serious shifts in the territory of 56 ha, near the TV tower. In upcoming years the reforestation in Yerevan will occupy 200 ha, just we should guess where these territories are, if each free square meter in Yerevan is developed at the expense of these very green zones.
