Raffi Hovhannisian, ex presidential candidate from “Heritage” faction stopped his hunger strike on the Easter day on 31 March. On 1 April he started his rural meetings with the visits to Kapan, Goris, Sisian, Yeghegnadzor, Ararat, Goravan an Artashat. Reminder: he started the hunger strike on 10 March demanding from Serzh Sargsyan to resign, who was declared the winner of the presidential elections in Armenia 2013.
Raffi Hovhannisian stated it’s not a hunger strike, but a protest against falsification of elections and intimidation “Today the Christian World celebrates the Rebirth of Jesus and the time of purification finishes,” he said.
