Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan today received WWF Caucasus Program Office Director Giorgi Sanadiradze. They discussed two questions: with the financing of KfW bank and through WWV a new project will be launched in the Caucasus for the formation and management of environmental corridors, as Information and Public Relations Department informs.
The objective of this program is to establish internal and inter-country environmental corridors among the protected areas. For the first stage in Armenia the creation of environmental corridors among the protected areas in Syunik Region was discussed, which will make the conservation of biodiversity more effective, including safe migration of animals.
Nature Protection Minister discussed with WWF Caucasus Program Office Director the reproduction of Royal Deer species in “Dilijan” National Park.
