On 24 August Arabkir Police Division Head Grigor Amirkhanyan threatened to activist Yeghia Nerssesian in the police station. “Calm down as a man, otherwise it will be bad for you, tell this to your heads.” Yeghia Nersessian made this statement at the press conference near Qanaqer-Zeytoun administrative court. He said, “If something happens to me or my family, or my friends, Arabkir Police Division Head Grigor Amirkhanyan should be directly blamed.”
Reminder: environmental activist Yeghia Nersessian was detained at 5 Komitas Avenue on 24 August during the protest demonstration. Under the police, he was detained for breaking public order and disobedience to the police.
Nevertheless, Yeghia mentioned that he didn’t break any public order and Grigor Amirkhanyan detained him when was standing on the pavement and took him to his own cabinet for threatening.
