On 28 November the Armenian Government recognized the public eminent domain over the territory next to Proshyan and Demirtchyan Streets and Lovers Park. ‘The need for implementing urban development programs in the given area has already been confirmed and under the decision of the Armenian Government dated on 19 February 2009 “Local Developers” LLC has obtained this right. Thus, due to private investments the damaged residence in the downtown of Yerevan will disappear,’ the official website of the Armenian Government says.
