The New year is still on its way, but the holiday mood already reigns in Yerevan.  “Winter Fest Armenia” project has conducted its Christmas events in Khnko Aper National Library.

During the event special attention was paid to the environmental component: environmental Christmas trees made of recycled materials were presented at the expo.

“As we have environmental problems, the idea of the Christmas trees is to call people’s attention to not feeling down the trees. Holiday mood can be created in other ways, it’s not a must to cut down trees to have a Christmas tree,” said project author Raffi Niziblyan. In the frames of the events an environmental informative course was organized, where they learned how to recycle paper and other materials.
