The tendencies and perspectives of the development of solar energy in Armenia, the most important issues in this sector were discussed on June 15, 2021 at "EcoLur" Press Club.
Vahan Sargsyan, Director of Energy Strategy Center (ESC) of “Scientific Research Institute of Energy” CJSC, spoke about the increase in solar energy capacities, its impact on the general electricity system, touched upon the international experience. Expert Edward Arzumanyan continued the topic.
UNDP Climate Change Program Coordinator Diana Harutyunyan, EcoLur NGO President Inga Zarafyan, Aram Gabrielyan - Expert of “Khazer” NGO, National Water Partnership Scientific and Environmental NGO President Arevik Hovsepyan, Energy Saving Foundation Executive Director Astghine Pasoyan, Expert Roza Julhakyan, Green Armenia NGO Founder Tehmine Yenokyan and "Center for Economic Law" NGO Head Movses Aristakesyan took part in these discussions.
