Construction of 400 kW Armenia-Georgia Electricity Transmission Line  as New Impetus to Expand Collaboration Between Both Countries

On March 14, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan received the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Romeo Mikautadze. The Minister stressed out that the Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to cooperation with Georgia, especially in the field of energy. In that direction, according to the minister, there is a great potential, which will be possible to fully use when the relevant infrastructure is built.

In particular, the construction of the Armenia-Georgia 400 kV transmission line will be a new impetus for the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of electricity and the development of cooperation at the regional level, as RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure informs.
