EcoLur Press Club (49/2 Hanrapetutyan, in front of Europe Hotel, entrance from the yard) will hold a press conference on socio-ecological studies in the impacted communities in Lori, Gegharkunik and Syunik Regions at 12:00 on March 16, 2022.
The speakers are as follows: Oleg Dulgaryan, President of Center for Community Consolidation and Support NGO, Anahit Gevorgyan, President of Martuni Women's Community Council NGO, and Arthur Vardazaryan, President of New Horizons NGO, who will present the preliminary results of socio-ecological studies of the impacted communities in Martuni and Vardenis, Gegharkounik Region, and Sisian and Goris in Syunik Region, which refer to the impact and responsibility of the mining and energy businesses operating in the impacted communities, revealing the problems and needs of the communities.
The collection of the data is carried out by Social and Ecological Consortium within the frameworks of “Social and Ecological Responsibility” project
