9 plots of land with a total area of 169.8614 ha owned by Talin community, Aragatsotn Region, were donated to the Republic of Armenia for the construction of "Aig-1" photovoltaic plant. On March 2, 2023, the donated plots of land will be transferred to State Property Management Committee of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure as state property. The authorized capital of "State Interests Fund of Armenia" CJSC, which has a 15% shareholding in "Masdar Armenia" company implementing "Aig 1" photovoltaic station construction project, will be supplemented with these plots. 85 percent of the shares belong to "Masdar" company.
It should be noted that on February 28, 2023, the decision N 11-A about the donation of land with a total area of 169.8614 ha was adopted by Council of Elders of Talin community with 16 votes in favor, 6 against, and 2 abstentions. One member of the council didn’t vote.
It should be noted that "Aig-1" station is planned to be built in Talin, Dashtadem and Ashnak settlements of Aragatsotn Region. The station will occupy 560 hectares of land. According to Government Decision No. 1021-A of June 18, 2021, the plots of land with a total area of 377.4495 hectares owned by Dashtadem community were also donated for the construction of the station.
