Solar Photovoltaic Plant with Total Capacity of 30 kW Installed in Shenatagh, Lor, Bnunis, Tegh and Vaghatur Settlements in Sisian and Tegh Communities

Within the framework of the "EU4Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Armenian Communities" Project the following EE (Energy Efficiency) and RE (Renewable Energy) activities were conducted in Syunik region of Armenia.

A 5-kW solar photovoltaic system and a water heater were installed on the administrative building of Shenatagh settlement of the Sisian community. Additionally, the project included the replacement of doors and windows and thermal insulation of the roof.

A 5-kW solar photovoltaic system was installed on the House-Museum named after Hamo Sahyan in Lor settlement of the Sisian community. Additionally, the project included thermal insulation of the roof.

A 5-kW solar photovoltaic system was installed on the administrative building of Bnunis settlement of Sisian community. Additionally, the project included thermal insulation of the roof.

A 10-kW solar photovoltaic system and a water heater were installed at the child development center of Tegh settlement of Tegh community. Additionally, the project included thermal insulation of the roof and basement.

A 5-kW solar photovoltaic system and a water heater were installed on the administrative building of Vaghatur settlement of Tegh community. Additionally, the project included thermal insulation of the roof.

The "EU4Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Armenian Communities" Project is funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a part of the “ECOserve” program.
