As of September 1, there are 630 MW of solar power plants in Armenia, as Hakob Vardanyan, RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, informed at the September 4 session of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of RA National Assembly.
The session discussed the draft law "On ratifying Framework Agreement on Establishment of the International Solar Alliance (ISA)".
Armenia signed the document to join the Alliance in November 2023. According to Hakob Vardanyan, Armenia's participation in the activities of the Alliance will be useful. The draft law received a positive conclusion.
