A group of children from borderline Koghb, Noyemberyan, Berdavan residential areas in Tavush Region, Armenia, received environmental education in the frames of 'Ecoschool' project. 'Ecoschool' coordinator Lilit Muradyan informed EcoLur that the participants of 'Ecoschool' project received knowledge in nature conservation, environmental pollution, and garbage recycling. With joint efforts, they cleaned the forest adjacent to Koghb from the garbage. It is necessary to develop environmental culture, to activate young people and children, to fight against environmental in these communities. We do think that with this project we were able to promote the children in borderline communities to be more active in their social lives and to be more aware,' Lilit Muradyan said. 'Ecoschool' project was implemented in the frames of 'ReAction' project of EcoLab Foundation.
