RA Nature Protection Ministry is proposing to change the category, the target significance of forest areas and the specifically protected areas of nature (SPAN) only after the position opinion of the environmental impact expert assessment.
In this regard, the ministry has circulated the draft resolution on www.e-draft.am “On Making Amendments to Governmental Resolution N1918-Ն dated on 29 December 2011 and Governmental Resolution N1920-Ն dated on 29 December 2011. With the adoption of this resolution, it is expected to exclude any activity contradicting the regimes of these land areas.
