The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has completed the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on the case of illegal cutting of trees by the forester of department # 1 of Yeghegnut forestry enterprise. A forester has been indicted.
According to the facts obtained by the investigation, the forester of Yeghegnut forestry department of Yeghegnut forestry branch of “ArmForest” SNCO, using his official position for the period from August 10, 2019 to September 4 of the same year, owned by him, illegally felled a total of 75 trees in the said unit on his own causing a total loss of 2,053,500 AMD.
