Nature Protection Ministry Staff Head Edgar Pirumyan replied to Vanadzor Aarhus Center Coordinator Pertch Bojukyan inquiry that 1167 trees were illegally cut down in Lori region in 2011. The leader out of 6 forestry enterprises in Lori Region in regard with the number of illegal felling was “Gougark” forestry enterprise, which had 546 illegally cut down trees.
